COVID-19 – A message from Susan G. Komen Arkansas Executive Director
Dear Komen Arkansas Community:
I want to provide you with an update regarding our response to COVID-19. The health and safety of everyone in the Komen community is our number one priority. We are following ongoing guidance from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Arkansas Department of Public, and our facility management.
The work we do is critical to local breast cancer patients and their families. Our staff will be working virtually to ensure that our breast cancer patients and their families are served during this time.
While the situation is fluid, our mission and our dedication are not. Our breast cancer community and the families we serve are our top priority.
Support for breast cancer patients’ most critical needs during treatment, including care coordination, copays, childcare, rent/mortgage, utilities, transportation, food assistance, breast prosthetics, lymphedema sleeves, post mastectomy bras and any breast cancer related medical device.
Screening and Diagnostic Services
Funds to cover the cost for screening and diagnostic services, including mammograms, ultrasounds, MRIs surgical consults, biopsies, ancillary services and more.
Personalized care plan for each breast cancer patient to help decrease barriers to treatment and provide linkages to support services. This program prioritizes our most vulnerable population.

A CALL FOR SUPPORT
We are grateful for each of you and thank you for your understanding as we all work together to make careful, informed decisions to protect our Komen community.
We know these times are uncertain for many of us; but, the women we serve who are immunocompromised and low income will need us more than ever.
