Komen Arkansas is the local source for funding breast cancer detection, support and educational awareness in 63 counties in Arkansas. Through its 2014-2015 community grants, Komen Arkansas is investing $1.06 million in education, diagnosis, treatment and support programs here in our 63 county service area provided by 21 local organizations that serve uninsured or underinsured residents in our service area. Since it was founded in 1992, Komen Arkansas has invested more than $16.2 million in local breast health agencies and organizations.
The remaining 25 percent of net funds were invested in the Susan G. Komen Research Grants Program managed at the national level. To learn more about Susan G. Komen’s research investment, click here.
